So I got back into wc3 after a long break and I find the starting generals you get at hq to be more useful than those you can buy
For example:
1. You get three of them for free
2. You can edit skills and ranks to create the perfect killing machine
3. Buying good generals costs too much and the cheap ones are awful in almost every way
4. You can't upgrade bought generals in any way meaning you need to buy the best for SEVERAL THOUSAND MEDALS each
So all in all wether you agree or not I wanted to put this out to show people that there isn't just once way to get gr8 generals

I personally disagree. Lvl1 skills are weak, and we end up needing Guderian, Govorov, and Patton ar least anyway, so might as well get them first

The only reason I'd upgrade eye-covered personnel instead of buying generals is when I decide I need a challenge after restarting the game.

Here is my challenge (out of a list I've been thinking of for days): Play the entire game without any gens other than your 3 eyecovered. No, not even Budyonny. And send some pics here to show you've beaten Aliens 1975. |

Да. I'm going to do it as well. Best of luck! we are allowed to upgrade stars right Да. Anything but buying Generals and IAP. Also, you can't do missions until you finished (def: end of all campaigns, finished all conquests), so no +3 medal wonder. (It's because you only have 3 no eyes) |
