Artillery General Requirements: -Output -Movement If you have a general quick enough to get to the fight, health usually plays a major role. Jean-Luc Picard is completely right. In general - yes. But for the start of the game, while you collect medals for Badoglio, he's not so bad. He is another one of those mistake beginner gens, like Meyer or Chung

As a general rule of thumb, you should only buy generals worth having at the very end. Why? Because you lose 20% of your medals when you sell generals.

Except for the fact that getting the extra medals between Weichs and Bado is so easy. If you can't get Badoglio, Ozawa or Crerar are the way to go Crear have no movement points. It will be impossible to get 3 stars in many campaigns. As I remember, initially I wanted to buy Govorov first, but when I collected enough medals to buy Badoglio, it became impossible to get 3 stars with artillery moving only one hex. Regarding Ozawa I can't say anything, as I haven't tried him in the start of the game, but for artillery he have only movement and hp, which will not help a lot.

Ah, so you haven't grinded the max from your conquests, no? (almost getting Guderian in progress)

That is his virtue. Ozawa is for Navy-Air, to fit until Goring and Yamamoto.

Use him as a arty-air if no navy Or MI if he doesn't need to fight in the front lines I normally use him as Arty-Air in campaigns (small, map control not as important as defence lines), and navy-air in conquests (especially later ones). He is acceptable as pure navy or inf-air if you are too far away from an Lv. 3 port (e.g. USSR; even if they are near Japan, how long will they take to invade?)

Wish I had this guide before I sold Guderian to buy Mountbatten
