IMO Battleships are only to place some gens, when you can't build carrier for one.
Carriers and subspam are what I use; carriers bomb destroyers, gens, land; subs melt battleships, carriers, gens and land upits on 'troopship'.

Whenever you have enough money to spam carriers, you will probably have that kind of a port. That depends. It's possible that you blitzed in the East, but somehow never went to Ireland In that situation, you wouldn't need carriers very much. |

In all strat gamea I am really good and sucsessful at land battles but really hated anything related to navy I just used it for support for land units |

Naval units aren't very important. Once in a while I'll use a battleship to hit a land unit with 1 range, but that's about it. Subs and carriers are the only important ones. |
