This is a question that kanue, saltin, Erich von Manstein, or Mountbatten should move to Mod Board since it concerns having a mod and unmodded App. Anyway: Lucky Patcher is supposed to be able to make apps install separately, but it hasn't worked when I tried it. Maybe The Light Bringer can help Lucky patcher needs rooted phone for it to fully work, there are few other apps capable of this and the basic option for nonrooted user is to get app that can change apps name.

Send me some in PM and I'll do the usual Vetting thing. Also: quick reminder to the less tech-savvy that rooting is a procedure that increases risk of malware attack and carries risk of bricking

And about apps capable renaming apps, Google, you will find quite a lot of them.

I'll post in this thread because the question I have is more or less the same and so I don't have to create a new one.
Does anyone know if there is an easy and fast way to rename an app package name? I use the ew4 unlocked apk to play and some mods have the same package name so they would install on it.
I was thinking of downloading java and apk tool and decompile/recompile the apk with a different name, but maybe there is a faster way.

For unlocked APK's: Change with MT the package name in the manifest. Easier or faster is not really possible blueberry. I recommend MT as primary Filemanger on Android, even if you don't want to mod.

Thank you, I've just tried it and it works, it actually is a fast way to do such a simple thing (much faster than what I was about to do). The problem now is that the mods don't install on my phone , but that's probably because they are too old or my phone's screen is too wide or something technical anyway Edit: I was wrong, I just had limited space storage, I deleted some junk and they work.

Thank you, I've just tried it and it works, it actually is a fast way to do such a simple thing [ ... ] It is simple only with MT - and incredible fast. In real this is already heavy hacking: The manifest is compiled into the APK and 'can't be modified' like this. MT is comfortable and lightning fast in APK editing/signing/... , recommended here since the first mod in EFC. .... I was wrong, I just had limited space storage, I deleted some junk and they work.
Keep an eye at your Package Installer - it can happen that with frequent installs the data becomes to big (up to a few GB) - and it is unused. This is the only app where you can delete the App-Data.
