I used to be really into it. Still a good way to kill time and actually use my brain. I played an add-on where you could equip units with custom items (1 movement cost on all terrain, increased dmg for melted, decrease pierce vulnerability, etc.) My one problem was that my luck tended to result in some key unit dying to some 10% hit chance, and missing that one assassin (70% hit chance for magic right?) who would then proceed to poison my healers/tanky units. I think I also got the 18th century mod out of curiosity.

But you could just get "All Attacks Always Hit" or something mod.

Out of curiosity, how does the multi player mode work in Wesnoth? If it's pretty flexible for when submitting moves... I might think of a TW mod for Wesnoth or something like that. It would be nice to have a game for RP board that we don't have to compute effects, income, recruiting, battles all by hand.

But I'm not really a MP player (as in a play SP and against AI most of the time).

Multiplayer could be interesting, but I think you'd have to change a lot of stuff to make it RP compatible (Do you want terrain alterations like moats, to chop down forests for resources, and You'd need to make custom maps unless you think there an RP balanced and compatible map). There's also the XP system you'd have to contend with, But I haven't looked into the RP board enough to know enough to say anymore then game mechanics that could pose a problem or results in imbalances (Don't forget the Fog of War system, and adding alliances/teams could be a bit of a hassle)

A new land! It's mainline and simple. I think that may work, Desophaeus, Farmer Doggo

There's a multiplayer map where you can terraform the land (water, farms, etc) For gold. But there should be sometihink like an engineering corps for the jobs if it were to be included

Quintus Fabius, where do I find mods? There's no specific subforum for mods on the Wesnoth forum.

Ill provide a temporary solution. As you browse Wesnoth add-on and mods, you can click on a certain mod, and on the mods description page there should be a button that links you to the corresponding forum page. I don't remember which button though, just look for Eastern Europe at War and then look in the desc page

Quintus Fabius , where do I find mods? There's no specific subforum for mods on the Wesnoth forum. They are called Addons. See addons button for a list; EEaW is at the top because main devs made the tielt begin with 17th century XD if it does not work, it may be down/you can't connect in restricted wifi and you have to go to addons.wesnoth.org Mods on forum are divided into 3: Faction/Era (a faction is, y'know, a faction like Loyalists or Rebels; an era is a group of factions all balanced with each other) Multiplayer (maps/gimmicky MP scenarios/arenas/MP campaigns) Scenario/Campaigns (SP scenarios/campaigns) I'm still Transfermium on there.

Ah okay, I was too accustomed to the CFC site, Civ Fanatics Center. One of the biggest and best locations for Civ and modding.
it's a lot easier to find mods in CFC than Wesnoth.

Just curious, what does MP Era stand for? Multi-player Era? Lol
