Imperial RomeBall, You're not talking about Eisenhower, are you? He's actually pretty good if he didn't cost $20 in real life money. Far from being overrated, really. He's even better than Yamamoto as a hybrid general.

He's even better than Yamamoto as a hybrid general. I would get him or Manstein if I had the money. (edit: If I even thought it a good idea) Zhukov is too generalized. (lol, general-lized) Nope, though I thought of him when revealing that clue. YAMAMOTO IS BEST (lol no, but in my heart) Unlike Manstein Eisenhower doesn't seem talked about enough to become overrated.

Being easily one of the best general on EITHER a tank or an artillery hardly qualifies as being overrated no matter how much Manstein is praised. Okay, how about... MacArthur? I think he has the sailor skill too. Wrong guess again?

I think he has the sailor skill too. Wrong guess again? Exactly. I told KS Thimayya that Guderian isn't overrated for that same reason. Honestly...you got it. MacArthur. Overrated IRL and in game. Not only is he not an outstanding Infantry general, but if I remember right he has the highest medal cost, at least certainly for the Americans if not the "world". What do you think about my choice? This was the original clue, or part of it was: I understand if thats no good, I'm taxed for time. I've got a date to keep. Be back. Oh yeah... I wasn't sure what kind of a clue it was supposed to be implying for. Ran out of time as in dead? Etc... etc... Now in hindsight it makes perfect sense. Mac was making a promise to return to the Philippines after a forced withdrawal. He's better in RL than in the game. If he's not great in RL, so then is Patton because Mac shares some similarities in personality and approach with him. Anyway, yeah, way too expensive to be worth it in-game. Never brought him, never will.
Okay, now here's a clue for my mystery general:
I am a general that NEEDS some serious cheer-up. I guess I'm too sad to fly a plane. Help me out here! I really need a sunny day to brighten up.

Alexander? Capable of air attacks but always gets spawned in cities without air strips. Then his stats are too underrated. And he is rarely associated with his famous First Battle of El Alamein in game

Not Alexander, nope. I'm still stuck without sunshine (hint: the battles of El Aamein didn't cheer me up) The irony is... in Real Life, I'm known for my jovial personality, but my portrait in the WC3 game makes me look like a very unhappy man.

Good guess! But no... Rommel was actually known for his moody nature rather than smiling. This general has a reputation even among the enemy Allied side for his smile. Easytech decided to give him a very depressed portrait though.
