Desophaeus is my creation so if anything, I have a right to use his name. But really, if he's a version of me, he has to be a violent version of me and incorporate many other personality differences somehow. Anyway, I would be probably be considered somewhat similar to Ulysses S Grant. He was capable of doing calculations that most men wouldn't even dare to consider. Grant said it was fine to be called a butcher of men long as he brings the lost states back to the Union. He also defeated the Confederates by a slow, deliberate constriction around it, eventually winning through starving the enemy troops to half dead. I tend to play that way best in StarCraft, fitting the Terran faction best with their seige tanks and battle cruisers. In WC3, I love to use mass artillery but it's less effective in comparison to nukes in 50's and 60's. I still abuse economic efficiency whenever I can against the AI.
