Hey guys,if you havent noticed I have redone the old banner for the forum,but I am hoping this is not the final logo. Final or not depends on if any of you wants to take on the challenge of designing a better looking one. I can help show you how it's done if you need instructions. Any wanna be artist that can complete the project within 30 days and be poll voted a winner and gets staff approval will win the designer badge:  Final pic needs to be resized to 800x533. I will add a few pics to get you started. I used this application that others in the forum also like using, but you can use any app you want. Going from the old banner to the new took me about 20 min and I am fairly clumsy,so it isnt very hard to do. New banner:  Old banner:  |

You killed the old banner by mixing pics of wc3   but yeah I know we'll be having some people who will edit the banner (or make a newer) considering the fact of the theory +picture guides we have. |

I have no any experience of making such a thing. However I also spent 15 minutes for making a sample. It doesn't mean that I like it and would like to see it as a banner, but in order to vizualize my idea. Here it is:  I think that it could be interesting for to use real historical paintings. I have a good colection in high resolution, so if anybody needs something like that - I can send it. |

Yeah the old banner was still saying "coming soon" even though the game been out for a while.We needed a refresh!
That last pic looks pretty good for a rough quick edit !

Yeah,new banner needs to have more of world conqueror 3 mini pics,since it looks like that part of the forum is more active.
I like both of the new banners but I think they both also could use more polish.

I like the new banner,the small missile pic though looks slightly out of place,rest of the mini pics look like they belong.

If the pics are not directly from Easytech games then they have to be royalty-free images because otherwise I cant use them in the official banner of the forums as that probably wouldn't fall into the "fair use" category.
Andrei banner don't look too bad kinda the same style as mine but with a little more organization.
It's a harder banner to make aesthetically because we are mixing a theme from hundreds of years ago with the modern era,tanks with cavalry!
And yes I had to "kill it" because world conqueror 3 is a major part of the forums now (I cant believe that at one point I wasn't sure I wanted to add that game to the forums Lol) and so the new banner has to reflect that popularity.
But no worries European War 4 fan that game is still loved by the many and EW4 board is still alive and well !

To saltin, by killing I meant the way you arranged the wc3 images / pix (poor napoleon, we can only see his head) that was the killing.
And yeah I know ew4 board is also making progress (but still wc3 tops the list since it's the newer one) .

They all look good,the banners need tittles european war 4,World conqueror 3 though,the app linked and many others can add words/tittles or just cut and paste from existing images.
Also remember if the pics are not from Easytech they need to be royalty-free images,you can google search "royalty-free images" google should show you a list to pick from.
We still have almost a mounth before poll voting on the best candidate.
