Gonna steal from Bismarck Jr , but People in Québec: Eat Poutine Watch Hockey Hate the Toronto Maple Leafs Hate Ontario Complain about the Weather Swear, a lot Drink Maple Syrup Finding French people annoying Finding Western Canadian's boring Bicker about independence Being salty about independence wait? Weren't y'all French until France left you alone with Britain on the other side of the Atlantic? Then why do you find French people annoying? I'd assume that its the same Independence Mentality most people in the Western Hemisphere have. For example, the last thing people in Brazil want to hear is to hear "Are you Portuguese?", the last thing a Chilean wants to hear is "Are you Spanish?", the last thing an American wants to hear is "Are you British?", etc. etc. Plus, the French people stereotype is that they're snobby and annoying (The stereotype, not the reality) |

French and QC went down their own way. Especially on the language front where we mostly kept an older french, while french updated theirs to what you know today. Also sometimes frenchies come down here with a certain air of superiority and arrogance that annoys us, they seem to think we are some sort of backwater (I said some french people). Anyway, while our roots are french, we developed in a way that is extremely different to them and created our own culture. |

Dont leave us hanging, how did it go? Well I was playing the beer boot game (if you all dont know what that is I can make a thread about it ifw) with a few of my friends (drinking is legal at my age here) so it was decided that we wouldn't use beer. Oh nonono beer is too tame. We had a few ideas. Mouthwash was my favourite idea but I didn't want to get my stomach pumped. We settled on Maple Syrup. Now this isn't your regular beer boot my boy, this was the ÜBER-BOOT! Thats over 55 ounces of syrup in a giant glass boot. I ended up winning and made €200. Of course I threw up many many times but... eh You should call your local canadian embassy, you could get honorary citizenship for that |
