I am at endgame and need another artillery general. I am completely torn on which of these two generals to get.

Konev vs Bai
Damage:

Konev is good for infantry as well.
Conclusion
If you want to have more output, go for Konev.
If you want to have more survivability, go for Bay.
If you want to have slightly more movement, go for Bay.
If you lack on an infantry dude, go for Konev.
If you want to have a cheap one, go for Bay.
My Pick
My pick would be bay. You say your in endgame, meaning you play conquest a lot. especially in 50 and 60, shelter (and ace) can be crucial.
Also Bay is way cheaper than Konev. However, if you don't have an infantry general, i would recommend konev instead. but for artillery? Bay, cheaper and better survivability means more to me than output.
Another bonus of bay is that he can move 1 hex more on Field Artillery.

What about union campaigns? Thats the spot where I have real trouble with. Union campaigns to achieve 3 stars I think output is really important... So I say Konev.. On the otherhand if govorov is ur other important art general... He is also slow.. Maybe speed will be better.. Best thing is to create ur own i guess --> output is important for speed.. Why? Often to achieve 3star you have to get a city before a specific turn, which can only be achieved when you have enough output hitting the city.. Atm i only have to do 4 campaigns for 3 star golf.. All others are reached.. Generals: manstein, govorov, 1-eyed art general, guderian, patton, goring.. All ofc marshal.. I have to admit to get the last couple of gold 3star i had to upgrade ion canon to lvl 8 or something.. |
