Aliens are the only ones with a shield

does this feature work on something else beside alien shield ? like city maybe ? I have upgraded tanks, which gave shield penetration, and compared damage to enemy armored car before and after. Before upgrade real damage was 14-32 (when damage in unit information was written 16-34), after it was 16-35 (when was written 18-36). And upgrade gave +2 attack and +5 shield penetration. I think that +1 maximum damage was the effect from shield penetration. The tank I had at the start of mission, so its level was the same before and after upgrade. Than I checked the damage of artillery, which I have 20 field penetration - the damage was 22-54 - exactly what was written in unit information. Looks like not onlyaliens have shields. |
