During discussion about buying Vasilevsky or Konev, talking about EC general, i have a question. Art EC gen has skill set as Explosive, Supply, Plain and Art Barrage. The 5th can be bayonet (increase atk of Inf when low life) instead of Aceforce which work limited. With full stars of Inf, Move, Art and Air, is that general are strong enough to be hybrid gen? Instead of getting full pow in Art, you get 90% full pow in both Art and Inf? Is it worth?

You need 2 pure(art and arm) and one hybrid (navy air+inf stars), that's the best way to go on conquest speed runs(I advise not to make these gens for campaign as you will finish it fast enough to understand what I'm talking about)

Would go for pure. however if you want to make a small hybrid. I Would prefer supply. supply is imo the 2th best skill in game. Best skill for survivability.

In my opinion, pure is always the way to go. With a pure eye-cover, you can get more damage out of them. I recommend pure until you have gotten way further into the game.

In fact that could be very useful at beginning of the game in campaigns where you don't have artillery and have only infantry, but most likely when you will build your general with everything except one skill, all those campaigns will be already cleared and it will be not worth to load your general in infantry unit.

But that doesn't make sense in itself. Any time one considers no-eyes cmdrs whether it be a pure or a hybrid, he is ALREADY way further into the game because it's stupid to upgrade a no-eyes cmdr until he has a full team of 6 powerful generals from academies. Of course, a pure is better than a hybrid which is what you were saying, right? Still not much of a point in upgrading either except for the sake of fun in completeness.

Okay, my point was that it is cheaper to make an eye-cover specialize in one area for a little while, and it is probably more useful. Once you can afford 5 - 4 stars in every category, then you might want to make them a hybrid.
