I don't believe most of them should be chosen publicly. Forum's are not, lets just say, cradles of democracy. That being said, some of them, namely the profile, should be chosen publicly imo. The rising star nomination is a possible good one Jean-Luc Picard. |

I don't believe most of them should be chosen publicly. Forum's are not, lets just say, cradles of democracy. That being said, some of them, namely the profile, should be chosen publicly imo. The rising star nomination is a possible good one Jean-Luc Picard. Nominated publicly, processed by mods and then pu for vote (maybe even for multiple votes for each category) |

I will be honest here, I absolutely don't care about the process of selecting the best etc...
Long as it's reasonably fair, if imperfectly fair, so be it. Long as it's rationally consistent then I am fine with it.
I'm too old to be more emotional than merely amused by the "loss" I experienced in the polls. I felt rather simply some distant amusement in seeing my name coming up as a nomination and I had a decent chance to win a forum award. That was nice. I'm satisfied. I can go to bed tonight soundly without staying up the whole night and over-thinking this whole boondoggle.
