He did participate in Barbarossa. He was in command of Army Group South (or did they call it Army Group C?) until 1943

It isn't historical at all. Erich von Manstein was taken out of power after he disagreed with Hitler's plans. He never participated in Barbarossa. He did participate in Barbarossa. He was in command of the Wehrmacht in Ukraine until 1943. From what I've heard he didn't because he had a different plan than Hitler. Well now I know of a faulty source.
