USA 1848 military (on the request of glorious Peru Imperial RomeBall ) USA 1848 military;
Positions of troops before the war begins; Each state (30 till date) has 10000 men (10000*30=300000). Update; recruited 150000 marines too this year. That's 450000 total. We don't keep cannons. 10 ironclads and 10 submarines are defending Cuba and Puerto Rico, 20 cruisers are back home
Operation Impending Doom begins; January; 30000 men plus 100000 marines (10000 each from Montana, Wyoming and Utah) invade Idaho, need a seven to get across this state (as there are two forts here as well). oPVWSHyZLol epic fail. February; CSAs coastline is blockaded with 20 cruisers. Virginia (guarded by 19150 men) is attacked by men coming from WV, Delaware and Maryland (30000). We need a six as we completely overpower the enemy. March; Nebraska is invaded from the North and the West, 30000 men (from the Dakotas and Minnesota) invade the state. Now, as Quintus Fabius hasn't written of any troops in this state (I'm assuming he forgot?) I think at least 10000 militiamen are defending the state, in which case I need a five to take over as I have more men than him. April; Operation Hercules begins, an attempt to take over Florida is made. 20000 men from the Overseas States aboard the 10 ironclads (let's say each can carry 2000) invade Florida with support from a few cruisers that are blockading the coast already. Need a four (even though nothing has been written about Florida, I assume 5000 men defend the state). May; 20000 men are recruited in New Mexico and Arizona (now being 40000). These 40000 invade West Texas (Texas has 41000 men roughly, so I guess it's safe if I call 20500 men (each) in both East and West Texas. Battle of West Texas, need a seven. Ignore may, this was before New Mexico was given back to Mexico ···This is why I separated my military and civic turns! Coalition, assemble! Operation Tsargrad is a go!

Y'all happy now? These were written four days ago before I agreed that no more wars will happen. Yes! President Calhoun declares a guerilla war on the USA. Virginian and Floridan citizens take up arms and form rebel militias. They start fighting a form of guerrilla warfare, utilising Fabian strategy, in the occupied states. Others who do not fight sabotage the Union effort as much as they can. The same will go for any occupied states henceforth. (To Napoleon Bonaparte: factor this in at least once per turn, for each occupied state)

I can't make more. Or can I?

The occupied states are more kind towards the rebels than your troops. By trying to wipe them out you will have to indiscriminately wipe out towns, which means the population of both sides will frown on your actions. We may be annihilated, but we cannot be conquered.

USA continued May; the army in Florida (18000) attacks the army of Georgia, 10000 vs 18000. Need a six Vw2heoBJOBLITERATED! Lost 2000 June; the army marches into South Carolina (the state that was the first one to secede), South Carolina (as well as North Carolina) don't have any troops, so I think 1000 men are guarding each state. 1000 vs 16000. Need a five OBLITERATED ONCE MORE!!!!!! That's what you get when you secede! 1000 died July; attacking North Carolina, 1000 vs 15000, need a five East coast completely recovered!!! Lost 2000. August; 17000 men are sent as reinforcements to the army stationed in North Carolina. To quell the rebels, a five is needed. All the rebels were killed with no Union loss September; the battle of Tennessee, 27500 vs 80000,need a seven . Quintus Fabius confirm your losses please. I lost 5000 October; 45000 marines plus 30000 Regulars attack Alabama, 10000 vs 72000. Need a five November; with 3000 men down, the army marches to take back Mississippi. Nothing in the state but I guess 4000 are defending it, anyways I need a six. 69000 vs 4000, need a six 2000 men died but the state was recovered. December; 67000 men face 10000 militiamen in Louisiana, need a seven OBLITERATED! 5000 died! ···············

I won't lie, I still have December left to do, but I didn't expect to get the whole East coast even myself, this is luck right here! No manipulation no nothing! I myself couldn't believe that the Union Army can be this strong!

I told you I wouldn't be around Napoleon Bonaparte , just checking in ATM. Your turns started out good. Attack on me was good. As you can see from my Brazil and Pacific turns, the dice like me even less than they like you. Hurts mah pride. I have two questions. Quintus Fabius , did he attack/destroy your navy? Kinda hard to take out florida otherwise. (Your navy might even be stronger, dunno) Also, how many men did you declare last turn? I'm not sure the level of resistance is accurate, particularly since he seems to have taken a lot of (major) states. HOWEVER, I do remember your army being relatively small, though it was bigger than 100,000. EDIT: your assumpations and methods were good as well. Outside the naval aspect, and whether you underestimated his army, it was good turns. (Despite there being no "marines" in landlocked western states. I will assume those are just normal infantry)

The 8 ironclads in Charleston harbour form a defensive ring around the now-Confederate Fort Sumter. The entire population of the occupied states now oppose your nation, many joining the remnants of the army in the mountains. The fleets in the Atlantic start raiding and killing every America ship they can find to seek revenge. The UK declares war on the US. The coalition will probably declare war on you. Enjoy having 5 mil rebellious people, USA.
