Each year until the end of the war. How long did it take to clean out Vietnam? I won't be doing that until the end of the war. Once your last state surrenders it's game over for you, then I won't be sending 1000 men to kill 10 rednecks hiding in a mountain or things of the sort every year Fair enough. If he has anything left though, he can keep rolling. Sounds more like Afghanistan. In Vietnam the rebels had 460,000+ men, vs many more occupiers. 1-3 million people died. In the recent Afghanistan war (not the larger and deadlier soviet war) the rebels had -80,000 men, and -100,000 died. Anyway, CSA is much larger than either Vietnam or Afghanistan. Though it of course has less people ATM. |

Laurent de Gouvion , Interesting moves. An amphibious assault might not face much resistance, but you didn't invade the regions bordering yours. Will you do that before next year? If Colombia is done I can then launch responses (or should I wait for next turn...) Lets say, 10,000 Portuguese in south x40%= 4,000. 70,000 Brazilians on southern front (due to Colombia and Peruvian feints) =6,500+4,000= 10,500. (basically Amphibious battle of Incheon, Korean war, plus 4,000 more defenders) 7,000 are captured or killed. 3,500 retreat to Sao Paulo. They are joined by -5,000 Brazilian regulars, 1,000 Portuguese, and 2-5,000 Militia. Thus Sao Paulo is defended by 12-15,000 men, opposing 19,200-22,200 Allied Platine and Chilean marines. Is this acceptable? Perhaps there should be less troops in Sao Paulo since they will be reinforced next year anyway... (I just reduced it by a few thousand)

He has given me notice of his political commitments. The Platine republic is using Chilean units as Chile itself has communicated thus. This no big deal, is only stab NPC. |
