This is coming from an idea by granny's terror in this thread: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/3986/empire?page=1&scrollTo=92712
The basic idea of this that we had (we being granny's terror , Napoleon Bonaparte and myself) was that we could do a RP that instead of us controlling countries and focusing on war strategies like in Diplomacy, the TW's and others, this would be a more traditional RP where we each make a character and post about what you say/do/think etc and then other interact with you. It would all be set around us running the government of a constitutional monarchy (which we need to come up with a name for) and a designated someone could also try and push the game in certain directions (this person would possibly be the king and would kinda be the game master). At least that was the idea I had in my head, I'm just not sure how many other people are interested in this type of RPing.
granny's terror thought that we should elect the King which I think is fair enough and not a bad idea. I have come up with a list of military and government positions for people to take.
Government Roles:
King (Head of State): HRH King Jean-Luc Picard
Prime Minister (Head of Government): The Right Honourable Grand Admiral Lord Frederick the Great , Archduke of Riklän
Deputy Prime Minister (Can hold another office): Will be appointed by Frederick the Great
Foreign Secretary: Franz von Hipper
Lord Chief Justice: The Right Honourable Lord Laurent de Gouvion (Primary)
Lord High Treasurer: best75
Minister for Science and Technology: Bismarck Jr
Minister for Education: Tito
Minister for Transport: OPEN
Minister for Agriculture: The Honourable Lord Stonewall Jackson , Count of Düsseldorf
Military Roles:
Chief of the Defence Force (Overall Commander of ALL the Military): Field Marshal granny's terror
Chief of Staff: Laurent de Gouvion
Chief of Army: Lord Ivan Kolev , Baron of Mapuchguay
Chief of Navy: Fleet Admiral Pierre-Charles Villeneuve
Chief of the Air Force: Air Chief Marshal Lord Yi Sun Sin , Duke of Sudo

Now there are an awful lot of spots to fill so I'll allow everyone to pick two spots to start with but specify which one is your "Primary One." That way if Timmy says "I want to be Chief of Air Force and Minister for Industry but I want Chief of Air Force to be my primary" and then Jimmy says "Well I'd like to be Minister of Industry" Timmy must sacrifice Industry for Jimmy who wants it to be the main. Makes sense?

Once we see who's interested I'll try and get this actual thing started (but wait for me plox it may have to be tomorrow since I'm going sleepys soon).
