Earlier in chat while chilling with themontenegrien and Anonymous, it was decided to try to test the score (years rules ) against both the # of turns before victory and the ressource count variable.
Why do that you ask? Well,it was better than watching the grass grow or rolling thumbs,or doing back flips really fast..so there you have it.
Anonymous was volunteered (ahaha) for the task and I took records while smartly looking in deep though as to what exactly the data meant! So without no further delay,here are the (somewhat strange) numbers,directly from Anonymous play/load and reload:
Lan save, format is: Round #, Gold/Industry/Food, America/Asia
24, 2698/1307/3916, 750/550
25, 3942/1570/4591, 750/550
26, 5186/1833/5306, 750/450
27, 6340/2096/6021, 800/450
28, 7674/2359/6736, 800/450
29, 8918/2622/7451, 800/500
30, 9999/2885/8166, 800/500
Variation 1,trading gold for industry,right before finish:
30, 99/3545/8166, 750/450
Other finishes (trading 1 ressource kind for another to see the effect on score all on the same game turn):
30, 29/2883/8166, 750/450
30, 9999/5/8166, 800/450
30, 9999/2885/66, 800/450
This done without the benefit of a 5 stars merchant general,with such general it would have been possible to trade 1 ressource kind with another,back and forth without loss.
Conclusion? We are reconsidering other options discarded earlier such as:watching the grass....

Hello saltin Saltin JthemonkI replied on purpose inside this old, abdonned post. One short introduction: I didn't play any computer games for much more than a decade. I visited this "infoboard" before - no idea why and when - And I was registered - wow - This must be extraordinary! (I practical never register to amybody) This fantastic infopool here in the board was the primary! reason why I stated to play EW4 when corvi arrived! Thanks to this forum I had a really extraordinary gaming experience! Thank you all so much!
I know this post! It was valuable help for me to find out all dependencies - the spirit of the board is still iinspireing: We got amazing new fresh guides for EW4

LOL! I think we are soulmates.
Not 10 years but 6 since my youngest child was born. I can't even remember how I came across it, but being under quarantine lockdown for 3 months probably was a big factor.
The in game tutorials are an appetizer and this forum is the soup, salad, entre, and dessert. Much respect to the authors of the output formula, getting Princesses, and item stats and locations threads. Who would ever guess that the difference between a success and fail on a Princess run was just selling iron to buy food?
One scenario left for me to win the game.

ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ, thank you so much for a heart warming post, EFC has it's ups and downs and sometimes I am responsible for both and some might even argue responsible more for the latter rather than the former  But one thing we dont lack is memories making, large segment of the membership always remembers the journey and the sharing and the good spirited fun!

Pay no attention to the haterz, this forum is great. Accessing websites from China can be tricky. It took me about 3 weeks to finally get privelages to post here.
