this looks really colorful? I gotta say I am not liking the new look. Well at least it looks like it has conquest. Not WC3 conquest, looks more like 3KC conquest to me imho. The world map may or may not be a menu actually (like 3KC) but the battles definitely reminds me the most like 3KC. I agree about the cartoony look, not quite the best touch.

Nah, I want it to be like GOG or Ew4. Just something random but I love the way the GOG battles are designed, since in that game, your allies actually try to help, all their units will generally attack. meanwhile, in EW4, allies are just like a decoration. also Karl IV, why did you tag everybody.

A decoration? More like a hurdle! I sometimes experience more hindrance than help. That's no decoration! Decorations don't go out of their way to be in the worst possible place at the worst possible time and block your advance randomly or steal a city after you pounded it down so hard for 2,3 turns straight. >: P Edit: I find it sad that I need a handicap like that to enjoy a game though. If there weren't any allies that are even worse hurdles than the enemies, it would be too easy and boring otherwise.

Guys!
Dont be disappointed until it comes out. Plently of really good games are casual or have a cartoony look.
May I remind you of TF2's Highlander community?
I'm glad they tried to implement diplomacy, for one.
I think its also great that they tried to make it look more attractive to children, so that more youth can become interested in strategy and history as well as great games like what Easytech makes.

Yes. Robin Hood is there too. EW4 and GoG had many historical generals which I didn't know, but this....... This is downright obscene. All history, gone. GoG2-style, TBH.

Historic accuracy aside, I look forward to the games release.

It looks like all the units designs are unique to their home faction.
I love it
