Any idea on the est western release? Its weekend right now, so at least till next week. Theres already an 'english button' on the chinese ios version.so i expect the english ios version soon (perhaps next week already). Android will wait. i guess somewhere in november. The chinese version in the beginning, the english version in the end. Or lets hope next week (not)

It looks cute. How is it in comparison to other Easytech games like GOG:ACE, EW4, and WC3?

While the graphics don't look the best they do start to grow on you and you get used to it. Compared to that disaster GOG2 this one is a whole lot better. You got conquest with 6 different eras and many historical campaigns. I like the mission design, not always attacking, some missions have a element of defending. Many real life generals even if some of them make no sense as a general and you now have items you can equip your generals with. My only issue is I not found a way to farm medals. This game is really good and if you are on iOS than these is no doubt you should get this game. If you are on android than tough luck you gotta wait a month while the iOS players enjoy this great game. I find this a easy 5/5

Score 5/5!
They used the good stuff from gog2 and made it a more complete game. AI id way better and you allies also really do stuff.
i am a campaign guy and the increase in difficulty is great. If you play by the book and dont use real money its like a grow thing in which you need to play other stuff to gain xp or items before you can continue. This was also good in gog2, although many of you never tries it thta long. The empire modus is a welcome extra part which gives you a playable main menu with stuff you can upgrade by plaing or building. I like it too. Even the missions and watching your generlas killing others by ai.
The conquest mode is ok and fun.. but in the end its knowing some t rick too conquer.
So in conclusion besides the graphics (you get used to it), its a nice strategy game with hours and hours of game play

Why are US cities in the Classical Period? That is all.

Why are US cities in the Classical Period? That is all. In conquest I suspect its to give the aztecs more cities to balance them against the Incas.

I think EW5 is a decent game becose they still kept that ''get all da good generals in yar collection '' adiction so you can stomp enemies left and right,my biggest problem is that the only ''strategy'' feel is when you are assaulting/defending a town in conquest mode, becose there is no fog of war there and you get to plan out your assault and your route the way you want, campaigs and others are is just massive clusterf**k and fog of war ruins any kind of strategy or freedom involved in it,also title should have been World Conqueror 4 :/
