Ehh, still seems worse for Alexander to be around. It's easy to imagine a eccentric general riding a horse (though to be fair that might not be feasible with armoured cars being his forces)
Not to mention non-graphical issue of getting rid of Byzantines, but putting Alexander instead. Why bother with Byzantines in the first place then? Could have given them to Ottoman, make Ottomans truly the Terror of Europe.
And yes, I'm aware that Alexander with his blonde body might present a more timeless figure, while Belisarius would look in 1812 like a....time travelling Roman. That could be why easytech did it, despite the possible contradiction.

At Nobunaga's campaign and the first lvl your ally gets a ton of generals so I was like sweet. But as i played the lvl i realized your enemy also has a crap ton of generals. like every 2nd enemy unit is a general. so basically this lvl is a big clash of generals. The map is pretty symmetrical

I think they made an error with Germany and Austria in gunpowder conquest. Germany has 4 provinces and is 2 star Austria has 7 provinces, stronger than Germany but only 1 star

I'm just starting EW5, and I only have the 3 generals it starts you with. Is there a path I should follow for choosing generals? Thanks ahead of time!

Germany controlling Italy in that map is making me cringe, and I haven't even reached Industrial Age yet

One of the new features in 1.2.0. version is “Literatures can be restored”. Does anybody know how it works?
