Alright, any suggestions for what I should buy next? I got Dumoriez, Sokolnicki and Arnold as generals, with no regroups to anyone.
I've also calculated how many medals I'd have if I sold all of my items I bought from campaign missions (With the 20% bonus so full refunds)
I'd have 1599 medals in total, and I also only have 4 general slots at the moments. Anyone got a good way to proceed?

Play conquest for Sophia. Use Dumouriez, Sokolnicki, and Sophia to get Isabela. Regroup Sokolnicki. AFTER getting Isabela, regroup Arnold into her, and get Kutaisov to regroup into Sophia. After that, use Dumouriez, Sophia, and Isabela to get Lan.
This covers you through much of the game

I then unlocked Isabela so I regrouped Maria and Kutaizov (into Sophia) and now my lineup is the terrific trio. |

It's more or less what you need When I beat the game with 420 stars I will be the self-proclaimed master of EW4 The highest I've gotten is 411 or something but that was with 6 slots |

Wow. I actually just went straight for Dobeln, and he's pretty much carried me all the way. Granted...naval missions suck...and...anyone on horseback...or on arty...

Really? Dobeln is end game? Wow. Note that I've gone 15-25 re-rolls without a good general, and I got him on my phone after the first...What are the odds:D Also, I know Dobeln can't go alone. Sophia is almost always there to back him up, or Kate if Sophia is needed elsewhere. My fourth slot is filled with Fatimah, which...frankly is just there for cannon fodder. She's not a horrible cav, though:P My fifth is empty, as well.

She's not a horrible cav, though:P My fifth is empty, as well. Dobeln isn't quite end game, but he is arguably the best infantry general that medals can buy. If you play with 4 slots he will eventually be replaced by Victoria. Nonetheless he is a very solid general. Also you should use Fatimah in cities. In conquest have her in combat until you get a capital city like Berlin, Istanbul or Paris. I would leave her there for the rest of the conquest. Her Economic Master skill increases their income to 120 gold I believe. |

I usually do, but it depends on what's more important at the time. I don't know if it's an actual game mechanic here, but I can't place more than 3 gens in conquest, so Dob and Sophia come first. Kate also isn't bad to have:/ In campaign, I always use Fatimah on cav.
I have 5 (hopefully 6, soon), so I might keep good old Dob. He crushed the Indians for me during my American conquest, and Britain during my European French conquest:D

I think the number of generals you can field in conquest is based off the stars for that country in the conquest menu (5 stars equals three generals, 4 equals four, etc.)
