Recently I've been trying to get wonders that generate resources, I have the great mosque up (i plan on getting Brandenburg soon), and I still have to get Christ the redeemer through 1939 (i know how to get it, but I'm a little bit nervous about trying to go allies on a pro axis map, I can do it, but I don't know if I can under 80 turns, but that's another thing). Now i just did WTO 2, but I need more atoms (or science points as I sometimes call them) to get he satellite wonder, so I was wondering what is the best way to farm science points (note: my NATO level is 1, time restriction SUCKS, my WTO is level 3, but I need to be a higher level, and I'm at year 1956).

Saterllite is useless, it only gives you bragging rights and some little science. Make it last. But I think 43 is an atom map if I remember correctly. |

Then what is a good science wonder, and how do i get it? I like farming through conquests more, so I don't have resource wonders due to me thinking they are useless. Especially the science ones. |

I'm mostly just getting them for EXP, a little bit if I need a few more of something to get a tech or something. |

IMO, investment to satellite is waste of Atom. You need to build wonder, then upgrade Satellite in HQ to earn little amount of Atoms by time.(you need very long time to earn back the amount you spend to them)
My experience with resource:
The main resources are Industry and Energy, many Wonder and important upgrade need them (art / tank / inf / navy ....) Atom need for Air / Missile and Nuke (Air need small amount to reach LV 7 - the best level to keep MI in paratroop, Missle and Nuke isn't too important to focus in early. => You don't need Atoms Wonder too much at early
The way of farming resources, resources from Replay Campaign is enough for low lv upgrade and low quality wonder, for higher grade you need more. You can farming resources from Conquest, there are some guide for auto conquest in this forum.
I go different way because my phone doesn't allow me to do auto conquest and my time isn't enough for manual conquest. I rush for HQ level and multi mission. Spend resources for tech (Tank / Art / Air) and Rush Campaign as far as possible. Then, replay WTO 1 golden to farm Ind, Ene and exp (easy, quick and very high exp when your level is low) for HQ level, while do it, deploy your Generals for missions to collect more Resource and Exp. When your HQ level up, you get more resouces and exp per mission you finish. I'm at lv 93 now and earn around 4000 industry + 3000 ene / 2000 atom per mission (I finish 2-3 missions every 45 minutes of playing). This is just my style, i'm pay player and get 3 IAPs gens (who are very good for mission because of their stars and skill), but hope it help you ^^!

Satellite is not so good as other resource wonders and it takes about 2 centuries to get back invested resources, but as this is the only atom wonder (other are even more expensive and require higher tech space tech level), you have nothing else to choose.

Unless you have high lvl HQ missions, farming technology through wonder is not efficient even for Erich von Manstein the big farmer. Conquest(60 Saudi Arabia/Greece/Sweden) or campaigns(NATO 3 Gold) are good enough. |
