I understand your concerns. But I prefer hard game exactly because it is hard, where mistakes and poor judgements could be costly, where there is no way back. It is very like a real life in some way... But of course it is a game after all, and it is not a game's purpose to be that realistic. But there is always remedy for a disease. You can always find a lot of mods (those make a life a lot easier, but I personaly think they kill the interest), if you have nothig against them... You didn't understand the idea. The idea is: I won't be able to upgrade Atilla, Blucher or Suleiman as I can't even upgrade my nowadays team. So in order to try all the content I need to spend 6 more month - and it is not playing - just stupid waiting. No thanks It is not about difficulty, who said it is about difficulty. All easytech games are quite challenging, that's what we like it for. I think we should differentiate between tactical and strategical difficulty. I don't even dare to think, that anyone here could complain about tactical difficulty of the game :0) But what you have said, I think, is also about difficulty (but a strategic one). We all made some difficult choices, and we don't know, what could be, if we took another path. It is exciting to know, I agree, but the fact, that we could not do that (at least not easy enough) I personaly do not evaluate as a weakness. In some sense a player is more responsible for choices he makes as never before in ET games

It's just a game. Interesting, challenging but only a game, not life simulator There is nothing really difficult in it. And there is nothing difficult to make a strategic (as You call it) choice being a community forum member. What is really strange is that such a choice makes almost unavailable other quite interesting possibilities the game could propose. That's really sad. It is challenging game and of course it is interesting to test it all the way... In case I would like to start with new generals my progress will be much slower, as there is no more reward for campaigns. WC3 for example was proposing 3 times reward for each campaign mission. That would be great for EW5 - someone could use that medals for new generals, someone for further upgrade of the existing team (that would not make them OP anyway), so I think that there is something wrong with the system of medal earning when You need to wait for many month without even playing...

Singlemalt, if I may suggest an addition: the level needed to unlock a city would be great to have (spoken from Empire Age Jean-Luc Picard, looking for Lincoln)

We should add the mission medal gaps into this. Just a slight detail that fits this topic.
