drewbeezle, so what do you need? a soulution how to faster capture brisbane? for 1939, 1943 , 1960 you need to spam carriers or idk if in 1960 there are Missle Launch Pads that can reach Brisbane to make life for you easier but for 1939 and 1943 you need to spam carriers from hawaii or if you play as Japan 1939 I used Yamamoto to capture bankog ( an important city ) then I used him to destory indonesia then to capture Port Moresby then the city I forgot the name I also captured the port in Australia so the Battleship wont damage my inf, I have built land forts and I have Yamamoto bombing the city and Nagumo ( from USA action ) he bombs brisbane aswell ( a little tip here use Nagumos carrier to be a decoy and bomb the two carriers with gens and with two battleships and a unit capture the city in hawaii form the back. Then if you want to spam carrierrs from there to bomb Brisbane. but the most important thing is dont send paratroopers to attack brisbane (blamey especially) because he will just get healed and it will be harder to kill him because he is elite

IMO, other than stuff above:
A stronk ion can do it, or a good gen that you want to waste in Australia.

For Japan Specifically:
Send Yamamoto to Manila->Bangkok->Singapore->Jakarta->Australia
Send Nagano and the Battleship guys (after taking over the West Coast of America) to Hawaii->Australia
You now have 2 high-level Carrier gens, and maybe some on Battleships too (Ozawa and Nagumo are quite good)

What is the quickest way to kill Blamey in 1939, other than carriers? The quickest is if you have ion cannon, which kills Blamey in one turn. But if we speak about real opportunities, than send there tons of motorized infantries from nearest airport and ships from nearest port. If you put any gen in these units, it will be faster. |

The best choice is the port near Darwin, you can build destroyers and battleships, while sending paratroopers to conquer the city, or Yamamoto if you are Japan
