*Ahems* Lake Peipus, First Tannenberg, Jena-Austerlitz, literally the 30 years war... The Notorious OVB united Germany, suppressed French power, suppressed Austrian power, and ultimately created the economic powerhouse that Germany is today. You wanna fight the OVB?

*Ahems* Lake Peipus, First Tannenberg, Jena-Austerlitz, literally the 30 years war... Hey the Seven Year War and fact that Germany is now a country cancels out anything that had a erm....less than perfect results. Tiny Prussia literally fought off 3 of the most powerful nations in Europe plus numerous other countries practically by itself and won!

Prussia didn't have much help from Britain who mainly fought in the America's and India, not Europe. As far as the war in Europe went, Prussia was effectively alone aside from smaller weaker, German states. Besides, even if Britain did help a lot in Europe Prussia was still hugely outmatched by France, Austria and Russia who if I remember correctly were EACH more powerful than Prussia.

I burned down Ivan IV the Terrible's capital and lived. Tell me about it. Tell you about what? Your crushing defeat at the Battle of Molodi? Let's see: What did you do to prevent a sociopath with a mangled hand from coming to power? Oh yeah, that's right, you got yourself fired after arguing that bills benefiting your own people shouldn't be passed so that you can go shoot socialists! Not to mention your fame for having a little "Contempt for all humanity" as well.

Single-handedley destroyed all of Europe. Seeing his country the Germans started their wars of unification. And definitely more. Gets no credit. Sad day for Napoleon Bonaparte

That moment when you realize your favorite historical figure's attempt on his life and kicking of his assassins butt took place on your birthday 151 years ago. I'm honored. Fun Fact: Bismarck continued home after his assassin was arrested, and his physician found 3 of the bullets only grazed his body, and 2 of them ricocheted off his ribs.
