Thank you all for reminding me of my old age My sincere condolences. ...Im making it worse, aren't I? BTW, Tito in that picture, if its him, looks like a kindly grandpa. (Hard to say about the kindness) Or a female security guard.

Guys! Good to be back in civilized lands! *takes a deep gasp of fresh air* Whew... Okay, many of you were wondering where I have been since mid-December, I will make this short: a whole bunch of stuff came up in real life right after each other in a rapid sequence.
Slightly longer version: First, I was hosting TW14, playing Dip03, and dealing with the final exams, not too bad, not too bad. But... I got a sudden out-of-town family emergency, and soon as I got back, did all of my exams, done. Then the week after the exams, my old laptop finally croaks and dies in a hard drive crash*. Okay, no problem, I got my cellphone here. (kaboom sounds) My cellphone finally breaks down in just the next day after my laptop dies, but I was hoping to replace it in January. Okay, my last option... the library at my university, one problem... it's closed during the winter break. Ugh, ok. Now what? I'm stuck in a little town in western Florida, just in the middle of nowhere. I waited until January came along and replaced my phone (But hey, the positive is... I've finished up my contract, broke free from the company and switched to a no-contract service that do actually give me decent cellular coverage which means my wife and I are paying $1300 less per year now, that's some considerable savings!!). Guess what happened just after that? The place I'm renting turns out to have a mold problem due to a small water leak in the roof that had been accumulating behind the walls. So the entire week, last week... I had to move all of my stuff out of that room and the landlord had the room's ceiling torn down, replaced and then painted over, plus the roof gets some patchwork done. Of course, the property damages was covered for by the landlord, but a lot of my personal property was stored in that room ends up with mold all over it, so I'm still cleaning up my stuff and disinfecting it. The good part: Today's my first day of classes so I'm back on the University campus, and the library is up and running. I have a new phone, and my new laptop will be arriving in a few weeks being shipped because the local computer store doesn't have that particular model I requested for. This one runs with a SSD instead of a traditional hard drive, and has 8 gb RAM which is four times as much as my old one has, (DDR4 not DDR3 for the RAM, btw), and it has a i7 core for CPU. I'm definitely looking forward to get my hands on this $850 baby. *unconfirmed, but most likely because it keeps booting directly to BIOS and nothing else, and it still was able to tell me the local time so the CMOS battery on the motherboard should be still alive, plus the boot menu options were greyed out and disabled in determining what order the laptop should handle the drives, so I'm guessing the BIOS can't access the hard drive...?

Too bad for your stuff, but you're here now. That's all that matters. Also, happy birthday to Picard.

I was born with a second eye Wait don't you mean you have thre- No, never mind. I want to believe. Desophaeus , that is one wild story, and if even partially true is certainly enough. I'm just glad you aren't dead. It would have been me next, otherwise. When you said your laptop died, I was bracing for your relatives. Oops. Congrats on the new laptop. Do TW14 or not, good to hear from you.

Do TW14 or not, good to hear from you. Real, it's just my usual luck. Either it's epic awesome or it's epic horrible. Now, it's swinging toward the end of goodness, I'm in relief. Enough of that! I'm glad to be back, and there's that. TW14... I will have to do the map updates via the library computers. I do need to look over everything I've collected in my notes and catch up before we start with 1494 (I think that was the year we paused at?). I'm thinking of extending the player vs player combat restrictions to 1495, to give everyone a breathing space (including myself). Most of my notes are on a spiral notebook so I haven't lost much of it when both of my electronic devices finally died after long lives of usage. I still need to pull out a few bits of notes from my phone (files are intact), but the maps on my laptop is beyond recovery (I think I will be fine in this area because I did upload each of the previous years plus the starting point, but the original files are gone).
