Maybe I was underestimating my generals. This time I rushed them into battle killing every single unit possible. I won with 3 stars... Oops... Congratulations! :0) |

I still need help, Genghis destroys the castle by turn three, and then kills all my troops, and my Ally's army in he south keeps me from advancing at all by building up a bunch of warriors...

I just have seen it again without moving troops (for the sake of experiment 3 times). Khan destroys the castle in turns 6, 7, 6. In one case he has lost 3/4 of his health. Mayby you were unlucky. |

Make sure your two generals are protecting Khan from going South. It is okay if Khan destroys the northern castle. Rush all of your other generals into battle in the South. Don't forget to make archery units behind the two generals you have in the North. I can probably make a step-by-step guide if you reply your generals. |

With generals like those, you shouldn't have a problem. Put Caesar and Hannibal in the North, and you should have one infantry next to them to protect a flanking invasion. Caesar and Hannibal should never move or attack no matter what! The rest of your generals will move South. Try to kill every unit that's South of your fortress. Jebe can be killed by using Alexander. Once you've eliminated all of the Southern units, advance east. I hope you kept your two artillery generals alive, because this is when they come in handy. |

I actually just did this one, again, for the bonus item, and remembered this thread. I would actually say the north is easier. Khan has a surprising lack of support, which Alexander, Hannibal, and Attila slaughtered. My two archers, robin and Moct (era 2), took care of him. Besides the main assualt, there really isn't that much resistance...

what i did was lure both jebe and batu khan to my hannibal, annihilate them, then barbarossa and his legions took the rest out one by one. you dont need to care about northern fort, but just keep an okay general (i did huo) and alexander at your spawn place and spam teutonics to keep genghis at bay. i was lucky for my alexander to survive with 4hp (but he didnt attack for the rest of the game), keep spamming teutonics at ur spawn and you should be able to overwhelm the mongols and take out the forts
