I wanted to ask you that! now now people, its his country so we should let him govern it right? Just take a look at my country, Austria isn't even a part of the empire but is included in the name (by now the country can be called The Kingdom of Hungary and Slavonia). Likewise my country can be called the Confederation of Germany-without-the-Ruhr and Denmark! Or GerDen for short.

I love how Italy has Marseilles as a home SC but doesn't even control Rome Depending on the situation, that actually can be more beneficial to have a broader base of operations while some things can be covered in-between the headquarter sites, so to speak in military terms. One negative in this game is, if one home SC falls and the other SCs are dispersed away from it, it becomes much more difficult to properly recover that lost SC. But that depends heavily on troop dispersion and composition anyway. For example, as England, it is less benefiting to have all 3 "normal" homes plus Belgium than to have only 2 on the island as true homes plus doubled down in the mainland, two additional homes: Belgium and Holland. That was what I would have aimed for. It's too late now so it's safe for me to make this observation in public without interfering the game. Yeah I get that there are strategic reasons for having Marsellies and not Rome I just found it funny how he doesn't have his IRL capital when he has a bit of France. And I suppose your right with the Netherlands but I wasn't sure if Germany would beat me there so I went with the safe option of grabbing Liverpool so I didn't risk losing an SC.

The Kaiser of Austria and the König of Hungary officially declares war on the Russian Empire, as yesterday a Russian fleet came out of nowhere to take over our Rumanian lands, we shall defend our motherland against this invasion! ( Quintus Fabius) The Kaiser also wishes to talk to the Sultan.

Public declarations can serve as an useful diplomatic tool (or propaganda). best75, Der Kaiserreich. But whether if it was used well in this case can be only judged posthumously when the game is over.
