So I have bought Mantueffel and promoted him to captain from lieutenant and I have 2 other generals that I got from leveling up, but I want to know if I am picking the wrong general and if there are better generals.

Wrong. Get Govorov, Guderian, Patton, Konev, Yamamoto, Badoglio for starter, I think Crerar is good too

Alright I mean a starter as in under 500 medals that do the job and help me get more medals.

For crerar , it was recommended for returner because they know about terrain fighting .P.s Crerar is a god when he stand at plain ( where there is no damage reduction ) Oh and check Erich Von Manstein guide about general recommendation at the planning room . And don't bother to upgrade crerar hp because the medal is needed to get other handy and expensive generals immediately .

Alright I just ditched manteuffel and got crerar, I only have 60 medals now ;_; Get Pyramids wonder by clearing 1939 conquest for axis country in 65 turns (Japan is the easiest), that will help you get more medals. |

Then you... -Don't upgrade free gens (we call it eye-covered, because... their eyes are covered) -Try not to buy any gens before Badogilo. Also avoid doing missions you can't get three stars yet. Just... -Do conquests. Japan 1939 is easy; you can do it with no tech or gens. Read a guide to help. You can also do Finland 1939. If you're lucky it's easy. |
