Anyone know how to clear this ? It either end up with Chris got killed or all my battleship tower smashed got destroyed by the Alien .

It is only with ships and you need to destroy alien tower? As I remember I have sent all ships instead of carrier south to protect ally gen and kill some enemies around him, and than ships proceeded towards alien tower. I did that without navy gens (one EC with 4 navy stars and two with 3, other gens without navy stars and none had wolfpack or fleet leader), level 10 navy tech and level 1 ion canon. When tried to go straight to tower, that was impossible, but this way it was quite easy.

I was almost done with this level! It was the last turn and Crace was at half health, and the tower barely had any health left; I couldn't see the red at all. I had three battleships there with Manstein, Eisenhower, and a normal one - all three were at 10-20% health - and they all did 1 damage. The tower survived.
IT MAKES ME RREEEAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLYYY angry!
