Noticed 2 times that when Chuikov got killed after some 7-8 turns it was not game over. It have to be like this or it was some kind of bug?

I think its related to the 2 cities that are the game objectives in this mission.
If you capture one of them and Chuikov is killed you don't fail the mission and still continue to capture the other objective.
If none are captured and chuikov is killed you lose the mission

Seems like for the same reason I had unexpected game overs in some early union campaigns (I tapped end of turn, than skip enemy turn and next was game over, so I haven't seen why it was). Just game over happens if you and your allies lose all cities/gens with blue circle. |
