Hey guys, I have a question about the AI spawning.
So, as the subject states, in '43, the Soviets spawn Timoshenko in a super tank in Leningrad. I've noticed this along with other generals - '43 Vatutin on super tank in Saratov, '43 Auchinleck on Heavy Tank on random jungle in Asia, '43 Devers on Super tank in Manila, '39 or '43 aircraft carrier with general on it in tier II British port, '43 Manstein in super tank in Minsk (I think) - and so on. I know it's mainly 1943, but it doesn't mean that it also happens in the other eras. Does anyone know why? I'm thinking that the computer is trying to "balance out" the gameplay, but I primarily think that the specific nation can spawn any general from that nation in any unit they want.

hmm. I've only ever noticed Timoshenko and Manstein, though I don't doubt you on the other examples. They always spawn in those locations. Leningrad makes sense, since It was defended historically, but the city can only make infantry so its pretty rude and non-sensical anyway. I'm glad somebody made a thread about the magical Petersburgian Timoshenko!!! (BTW, in EW4 on my grinding save Russia summoned 2 generals with no infantry stars on infantry  (that is a different mechanic though, since they come from pubs) |

In 1950, I've seen Russia spawn him in on super tank too, making two of them!

Exactly with Leningrad being defended historically, but Govorov is already there with F.A. sooooo.............. it's already being defended?! yeah you have a point. I thought it amazing when I saw two Bagramyan in 1950. Note that they have different health, if I remember correctly. not sure this happens all the time though, like timoshenko or manstein (assuming they do) as I only noticed this after playing 1950 a bunch of times. |

Imperial RomeBall, yes, the health also throws me off; the one I can think of the best is Auchinleck spawning in heavy tank in Asia '43. He's only a corporal, which makes no sense.

hmm. But what about the starting generals for Italy in 1943? Messe on a heavy? tank, with only corporal rank.
I think the worst is Guderian in 1943, as, presumably in the interests of empowering the Soviets, they gave him some rank with less than 100 health. I think as a famous front-line commander on the eastern front he should have more health.

But what I want to know can a USSR gen spawn in Kiev or Minsk etc but in 1943 so its not their city at the start but a gen spawns I dont belive it but we should test it out
