Good inputs here guys. I was leaning towards R.A for the reason mentioned above. For it`s offense. However I did not think of the damage it takes every turn, leading to poorer attacking. I have just started the Allien battle and my biggest problem is that the Alliens kills my units easly. I read the Allien guide thread and saw that R.A is to choose toghether with cheap infantry so the allien can focus on that. I have around 2k medels and still in a dilemma that my next step should be.

At the same time that you lose opportunities to counterattack, you're dodging damage. Often in Aliens, the damage you dodge is more than that you don't get to deal. Right. But that can be worth only when you have more units than enemy. And in fact in aliens campaign you can't waste time anywhere. I remember only one place, in 3rd campaign, where RA can attack tower while it attacks nearby city. And even this I used only in bronze and silver level, in golder level I decided not to waste time killing that tower and left it alive. Sure, I still used RA, as it was in starting army. And regarding conquests, assuming you have 3 art gens, sooner or later they will have to defend not to attack. Just checked, how this will be: Iran conquest on first turn bought FA, put in it marshal EC with 4 art stars and 3 supply, plain, explosives, barrage and street and he just stayed in city without any support, just attacked enemies without moving. Being constantly attacked he survived 29 turns. And when he died, there were some 2-3 enemies around, so if he were lucky, he could survive this attack too. Tried to do the same with RA. Gen died after 10 turns surrounded by crowd of enemies. And even these 10 turns he survived just because of protection from city. |

Aha. Alright. I have a better picture now. I tried the allien conquer. Did not last long lol. i was thinking like this: Govorov-Konev-Bai.C - Modified EC-Guderian-Patton?

I play alien conquests with 1 tank EC, 2 art ECs, Govorov, Guderian and Vatulin. If I had only one EC, it should be art and others could be Guderian, Govorov, Konev, Patton and Vatulin. But in fact I have now Bado, Govo, Vasilevsky, Guderian and Vatulin (I ave bought them in such order) and I haven't dismissed any gen. As I remember, after I have bought Guderian I started to make such ECs: 120 hp, 3 tank/art stars, lv 3 supply, lv 3 plain and lv 3 explosives, 120 hp, 1 movement star. It costs around 3300 medals and even on this stage ECs are quite valuable.

let me say a poem for this. Buy tito Better than Rommel on infantry Similar to Yamamoto on Tank Better than Goring on Artillery Similar to Konev on Air Similar to Bai Chong Xi( Bai C. X.)on Navy So buy the generals I spoke earlier. BTW , are you sure you not mistaken goring and Yamamoto? Because goring is a infantry-air general , Yamamoto is Navy-Air General and sometimes works on artillery-air as well p.s Konev and Bai C.X only choose either one I think you just confused border into considering Tito for the job. |

Govorov-EC(3*arty&move&Plain, 2*Barrage&Explosives, M Gen)-Rommel- Goring-sell Badoglio for Konev-sell Ozawa for Yamamoto-promote Guderian and Govorov(marshal)-EC(perfect version, pick two from Supply/Ace Forces/Street Fighting, I recommend Ace and Street personally). |
