I'd recommend 170 hp+3*arty&move+3*PF+2*AB&Explosives. The price, I believe is around a Guderian. The other two can wait(and me personally prefer Ace over Supply because 8 is too little in campaigns). Regarding upgrade sequence - that can be adjusted by current needs. I have started with 3 tank/art stars, lv3 plain, suplly and explosives this way making some kind of gen with universal skills only, to add later tank and art special skills depending on which gens I will choose. But regarding supply IMO it's better only in challenges. Maximum gain from AF is 90 hp, and in aliens campaigns (and earlier you don't need ECs) you can get more from supply . Sure, with some exceptions, but in most campaigns you gen max level anyway, so AF have only temporary effect. It is useful only when your gen gets surrounded by enemies at the very beginning, but that can't be avoided only in challenges. Also keeping in mind that it's almost useless for conquests, I prefer supply. Yes, that is true, however, I believe, it comes down to which way you choice to go. If you want to modify your EC then you can not go for all the top generals and so on. As you have you proven, going for EC early can also work out. |

Sure, that depend on whether you can proceed or not as if you don't have some 4k+ medals, than ECs are investments for future. Right now you get weaker gen, but later he will become stronger than academy gens. |

This means your solutions of saving up thousands are not viable for a guy like border |

Buying academy gens he gets more powerful right now, upgrading ECs he gets less powerful now but more powerful in the future. |

Yes indeed. I farm poorly right now. It takes time for me to gather supplies. Maybe if I re-start I will try the early EC version.

If you're stuck when your budget is not so big even without EC, than with EC you will stuck even earlier. In fact even if we think about 3 ECs and only 3 gens, you have only Ozawa and Badoglio, which are out of that lineup. That's around 1700 medals which is about 80 hours farming from wonders. I don't think you need to restart. |
