Hi guys,
i only need a little gold and less then 100 literature to proceed to gunpowder age..
i am woundering wherther there will be a backside by upgrading very quickly to the new age. since this has been the case in other games (but these games were pvp games).
any thoughts on this?

Maybe upgrading to next age increases the lvl cap?
Before the max lvl was 40 and we needed to be 35 to get to discovery.
Right now we need 45 to get to gunpowder so I think our max lvl might be 50.
Might want to wait for more medals or invasions might get to hard due to enemy having 5 star troop than.

Since lv41 mission yields more rewards so it is reasonable to hope that it will be the case for a higher level mission. You may get access to more cities in your empire. And more importantly, a reward from completing 5th era conquest is a Keel weapon. Those are the plus side for gunpowder era. I can think of a down side yet.
But.... I doubt whether the mission reward improvement is a result of lv41+ mission or a new patch. Maybe someone with mission level lower than 40 can confirm this.

I kinda think that when i have the literature i will upgrdae.
1. Info for this forum
2. High xp lvl generals and maybe upgrade to 5 stars when the medlas are there
3. Unlocking more conquests with rewards, i didnt know that we can get the kiel shield.but possitive thing
4. Maybe more income from missions
That invasion becomes harder wont be biggest problem since the main income that needs to get farmed are mission which are always completed

I dont think the "invasion will be to harsh " argument stands, since at lvl48 without upgrade i cant finish allready 4-5 invasions due to high tank enemy generals  .org/image/82tmf9ygv/]  [/url] |

No reason to rush there, except you have a lot of medals to spend. Upgrading a general to lvl 5 costs 1500 medals.

Since I don't have medals to promote my gens to 5 stars, I still see no real benefit from upgrading to Gunpowder as of now. But... those level 55 invasions do kick my butt hurt so bad. Maybe to enjoy farming diamonds from invasions before upgrading to the next era is a good idea too. |

Ah looks like era does not limit your level.

Sincerely Ahh... sorry that I cannot easily post image here because I play the game on a separate device which is kinda... isolated. Since you have already provide all the images and new info for the Gunpowder, I guess there is nothing more that I know. Maybe what I can is that the diamond is quite abundant because you can get it from invasions. 7 diamonds and ivory for each invasion and there are 2 rounds of 7 invasions per day. That means if you are able to complete all invasions you will get 98 diamonds per day. Another thing I may add is that the reward from completing Industrial era conquest is Odin Armor. PS: I got to Gunpowder era early because I wanted to rush for Keel Sword from its conquest. Game progress-wise I am kinda lack behind since recently I do not have much time to play. I have not done anything beyond Empire era. Neither campaign nor building cities. Well, except conquest, that is. |

Now that I have to do lv56-60 invasions, the rewards increase to 8 diamonds and 8 ivories.

Lv61-65 invasions give you 9 diamonds and 6 artwork.
