Perhaps someone with a rooted phone should change the stats of a tank to a number (let's say 10-10) then put a general with 1 star in tank on it, change the likeliness of the trigger of the critical damage skill to 100%, subtract the answer by 6 and look at the outcome. So for example: Stats of tank: 10-10 Likeliness of triggering crit damage skill: 100% Number of stars in tank ability the general has: 1 Outcome: 19 19-6 (1 star in tank)=13 13- (stats of tank) 10=3 So, the critical damage is 3. i can do that, my ipad is jailbroken i'll just fix ifile from cydia

The maximum attack of the heavy tank is 46, Guderian's star gives +28(my thread says that). 46+28=74. Correct. So the trigger means the maximum attack of the unit+general star. I think more needs to be done to understand this. Your formula for crit damage is simply the max damage from the tank added to the normal damage that the general has. Which would be strange because it would mean crit damage=normal max damage That isn't the normal definition of crit damage in most games. In any case it doesnt really matter which formula we use,the data clearly shows the skill to be weak. In my country, there is a group to talk about WC3, with over 10,000 people. Critical attack is equal to the normal max damage is known to every in the group, discovered by experiment of attacking 45 times. Just like the stars I talked about in ny thread. This is the experiment result, the normal attack (40 times) is on the left, critical attack (5 times) on the right. The experiment was also used with Guderian on heavy tank (24-40) attacking Polish armored car on the mountain. Same thing happened with Manstein.

10,000 in the group! Wow I can only dream of having even half of that in our forum here ! I am glad you part of our community too,as you might bring us some info we havent seen yet.
So yes please feel free to post more if you see there is a need for clarification,as we still have several areas of wc3 that are not yet fully explored.

I am not really sure about EW4 because I am not playing it. For WC3...... There might be another group talking about that, but not big in our group, our group has a discrimination about hacking bacause there were too many people using the hacked data to show off. I will post if I found one.

I think the main chinese groups require a (real) phone number for registration too.
Also you can check out the weibo feed from the developer but to read more than just a few lines again requires a real phone number to register and I think that one has to be a chinese number too.

Do the people in the other forum speak Mandarin only? I doubt that very much,English is taugh is so many places as a second language.I bet hundreds if not thousands speak more than just simplified Chinese and have at least a partial functional English, also google translate can help too. Eternalaurora should bring more of his friends to come visit us Anyways,I wonder if the critical skills have always been broken,or has Easytech made them that way in one of their secret updates.

But true, xx Leader is a pretty weak skill. To make it any more useful than it is, I put it's values to 14-28-42-56% chance instead of 4-8-12-16% (in my mod), and it's still not nearly as useful as Tide of Iron.
