Interesting fact. Christ the Redemeer cost 4k Ind and produces 75ind/h or 15ind/60d (max 300/4h). Given that, it will take you around 54h or 2.2 days to Break Even. But Borobudur that produces 25ind/60d (500max/4h) or 125ind/h costs 24k ind. The difference between 15ind/60d and 25ind/60d is about 166% but the cost is 6x the difference! Basically, to break even it takes around 192h or 8 days around 3.6x more then Christ the Redemeer. Or have I gotten the calculations wrong? Anyways, this could be useful when deciding wether to purchase a wonder. In my case, I have to save up for City of Cuzco which costs 80k ind. I bought Christ the Redemeer and have about 32k ind. I am maybe 1/3 of the journey and still in the early phase. I have Conquer 50-aliens left and maybe 3/5 of the campaigns left. That makes me believe that it would be faster to get City of Cuzco by not purchasing Borobudur and clear the campaigns and world conquers. Of course, your activity has an direct impact. If you do not play often, then maybe going for Borobudur is better and farm, but i think if you play actively, it is faster not to buy Borobudur. Looking in long term, sometimes you will buy everything you can for resources and you will not need them any more (that can be done in some months of farming). To buy everything you can for medals... it takes about a year non stop farming (24/7) with 3 medal wonders. So I advice you to buy City of Cuzco first. If you want to clear everything (3 golden stars in every campaign, all challenges and all conquests with all stars), you need quite strong team, which takes quite a long time to build, so for sure it is worth to buy resource wonders. The only exception are tech wonders. They are more for fun and achievements, but satellite is worth to buy too.

At the end, you would need al the wonder resources, however, it is in the beginning when every move is crucial. If you make a wrong move, it could set you back for a lot of time, and in worst case, make you to restart. It took me 3 restarts to get on track, and I am still making rookie mistakes. But that makes the game fun. You really have to think I guess.

If you wasted some resources, it's easier to get them by clearing some conquests. And if you have medal wonders, in most cases it is not worth to restart anyway.

However, my first try, I wasted medels in the beginning by uppgrading EC. Did not have a clue about wonder medels. Second time around, I did have all wonder medels, but made som errors when selling generals, and I came to the conclusion that it would be faster to restart then farm for medals. Anyway, it comes down to how often you play/farm.

It does sound a lot, but I guess we all have different perspectives. The question is which way is the most effective? At the end, alliens are the biggest problem and wha suits best to beat alliens? If you do not farm much, 3 academy arti (Gov+Bado+Bai/Konev) is good. People who farm much, like Stierlitz, recommend EC's or ion. Can Bai replace Bado? Cause I prefer movement.

So you're looking at Manstein instead of Bai/Konev. 4* Art+ 5* move+ 4* Explosive+ 3* Plain makes him better than Bai. If you want a full rundown of Manstein on artillery, ask the man ( Erich von Manstein ) himself

It's okay. Manstein appears to be a tank general because of his skills, but he's equally awesome on artillery AND artillery units can shoot enemies without getting hurt from the defensive combat damage. That's why people who have him likes him on artillery so much.
