I don't know if I'm going paranoid, but after I reinstalled the game recently, I've noticed a complete change in enemy strategy. For instance, 1943 USSR used to have the German Generals wait for your advancement, and now they advance on their own, aggressively. Do you agree and think it's possible that their strategies have actually changed? Or do you disagree and think they're just responding that way because of my strategy?

I think the main reason is that you have less tech upgrades and gens now and that affects AI strategy. Also there is some randomness in AI strategy, For example, playing USSR 39 sometimes Leeb goes to Belgrade, but sometimes he just runs around Munich and Zurich doing nothing in fact (at least for first 7 turns until Hittler is kaputt). I don't watch AI turns, but seems like for some reason he goes forward, back and just can't reach the enemy to attack.

I'm going to agree except that I have relatively similar generals compared to my Golden Age. I have Govorov, Guderian, Manstein, and Badoglio, having them shouldn't differ much from Govorov, Guderian, Patton, Badoglio, and an eye-cover.

Why he doesn't go for Belgrade is a mystery, but once he is deep inside he will go towards the nearest enemy. The nearest enemy status may, from turn to turn, go to a unit in a different direction. Thar explains the wandering.

Thar explains the wandering. Seems something like this. But for sure there is some glitch with moving too. For example, in long conquests quite often some units keep staying at upper or lower border of world most likely trying to pass it somehow. May be the same is with Leeb, who tries to pass quite many obstacles and fails to do it.

For human difference is not notable, but may be AI evaluates gens other way. May be Manstein's presence affects AI behavior.

I'm not sure what the last option means, but I clicked it. Why? Because my Tablet died so I can't check, cause this game costs money on apple. I can't even find pictures for my Wavell X Clark fanfic

I suppose will never see the lines of code behind WC3 though.
