yeah, so will koxinga Petain and Joan will get reduce dmg by 40% and leadership Nabunaga will get his ashigaru skill back catherine will.have no retailiation and 70% more dmg to archers Napoleon will receive 15% health with each unit he kills Babarossa has his teutonic order skill and samurai skill washington will have his 30% no retailiation replaced by 70% extra dmg to archers the Khan will do 100% more dmg to inf How about Alexander, Caesar, Nelson, Yi Sun-sin, and other purple generals? And do the unit graphic change? BTW, I think this topic should be discussed on a separated thread. moved it indeed to a new thread |

Never mention the fire. In my easy-tech experience, its useless. pretty to look at though  Good point about Li-shimin. His strength might turn a weak unit attack, into a strong secondary strike. Im just impressed at this threads longevity. To muddle the pond some more.....I've never really understood Teutons skill. First I thought: Wait what, 50% more damage when fighting the enemy? Who else are you going to attack? and then, What if it means people the Teutonic orders doesn't like? But why would you make a anti-pagan and anti-muslim game mechanic? I had to wonder when I watched Barbarossa in crusade missions, but just now, the way you said it "50% damage" makes sense. They simply bungled its name. Its like EW4 skill that just increase damage across the board. They really messed up the Teuton skill description. You have the skill From my testing the 50% entra damage only comes in effect if your are attacked by the enemy on their turn. If you attack on your turn the extra does not take effect. |

If you attack on your turn the extra does not take effect. I was wondering about that too. 50% bonus damage to all seems to be a bit overpowered. What I initially interpreted from the skill description is that the bonus only applies when you are attacking on your turn (and the Cover skill from Carthaginian siege tower only applies when you are being attacked on enemy's turn). So based on your test, I guess it turns out to be the opposite. Then what about the Cover skill? |

Just tested Cover skill by using siege tower to fight with lv 1 tower. It seems that the siege tower take the same amount of damage regardless of attacking or being attacked. The skill seems OP to me.

The skill seems OP to me. Just saw this idea: French 6* inf (Petain and Jeanne d'Arc) gives 40% reduction to all, and no morale drop/confusion. And Jeanne d'Arc has shelter which reduces arty damage. It might make her a good one against enemy arty gens. Suleiman remains meh, you have Blucher. |
