Yes, price/performance Ozawa is much better. But in fact, how many other gens you have? IMO, if you don't have at least 3 good tank/art gens, it's not worth to waste medals for navy/air gen. If you have such gens, it's better to build EC and add him some some navy/air stars.

I think what was intended to be said in here... Ozawa is a very good choice as your 3rd general after having Badogilo and a tank general (such as Gunderian OR Valutin, depending on preference). There's some help to be had in specific campaigns for having a naval general type rather than being pure art/tank. But that said... it's still best to spend little much as possible on a decent naval general, so hence Ozawa is still a very reasonable addition. And long as you only spend your medals for Ozawa in the navy/air dept while the rest of your medals goes to the art/tank portion of your team, you will have a good team without breaking the bank and get yourself caught in a bind.

You should avoid getting naval generals they are useless in the early and mid part of the game. Ozawa is enough to carry you to late game.

However, I was not right. In late game naval gens are useful. I just bought Lee, Koga and Isakov. To finish last naval mission.

Idk guys. I went Badaglio and instead of Ozawa, I went for Göring. Made a huge impact. That guy is beast. Really hard to kill and really useful for almost anything. Since he have both steel and money boosts and 280HP it helps you alot.

Since he have both steel and money boosts and 280HP it helps you alot. His money skill gives you around 10 gold per turn. May be useful only for accumulate resources challenges. Steel... even less useful if it is not accumulate resources. His hp level is really good, but for that price Vatulin or Govorov is very much better. IMO even EC with 200 hp and 3 air stars is notably better just because you can invest in him 350 medals for 3 art stars, 290 medals for 2 plain fighting and 240 medals for 2 explosives and 90 medals for one movement star and he will be able not only to bombard but also fight in artillery better than Bado and with opportunities to become very strong after some investments. |
