I finally beat Rescue the Ally VI. Timoshenko will no longer die on my watch! That's all I wanted to say, go back to your normal lives...

I remember that... First I tried saving him by building air defense on the spot, where he shoud go, but when I figured out the strategy for that, Timoshenko started to run to different place, not where I prepared air defence for him. I think I planned one more strategy, but it also required some kind of behavior from Timoshenko, and he misbehaved all the time. I finished with landing infantry gen with paratrooper to capture city with missiles. How you cleared it?

I think I just got lucky on this one tbh... But I didn't complete it until I had strong unit levels and generals.

Only for blocking McArthur I had no troops left and just sent last remainings to slow him a bit. As I remember, even after capturing Phnom Penh I had problems with troops. |
