Like the caption says, I can't remember how to stop paramspam. can someone link a thread here explaining how to? Thanks (And yes I am a noob when it comes to EW4 and WC3  ) |

I don't know if there is a thread somewhere, but you gotta fight fire with stronger fire. Make paratroopers nearby your enemies and armored cars. I usually like to also include some kind of tank to help reinforce.
Armored Cars serve to kill the paratroopers easily, your paratroopers are there to quickly destroy the cities that are paraspamming, and tanks are there to help with the leftovers or if your army is stuck.

The best way is supertank with good gen. In this case paraspam is only exp. If not... the best defence is attack. Just capture enemy airports quickly to prevent paraspam. If paratroopers already landed, capture their airport with your paratroopers and let them attack your cities (sure, make good defence before that). If you have enough money or good air gen in city, you can attack paratroopers with fighters. As I remember, the only problem with infantry was invading China from west. I just captured nearest airport and killed everyone around with fighters.

I presume the only place you are facing paraspam is the area from Saratov to Ulan bator.
Paraspam only happens if the game drags on for too long. The best option is blitzing all your enemies all at once. They have to spend money building units to retaliate, therefore has no money to paraspam. This requires strong upgrades and generals.
The second option is stealing a friendly city using a few mot inf. You can muster forces at the frontline without trudging through the russian wasteland.
A third option is to attack in another direction. Instead of going from Moscow to Peking, you go from Alaska to Japan.
If these methods don't work out, you will have to tediously grind it out.

I am actually playing the "letter from the front" mod and as America I am trying to invade the Chinese coast. Now, as the Chinese have a ton of generals (and even anime generals, yeah. Anime) it eventually became a problem to invade.
Anyways thanks to all for their advices.

Get forces that can beat them up quickly. Also if at all possible take the city they come from. I remember this it was irritating to the point I dropped a hydrogen bomb on them

My first experience with paraspam was attacking west across Asia while playing as USA coming from Japan. All was well until I came to Moscow. I had to retreat from three or four rounds of five paratroopers at a time. While dealing with that I went through India, Africa, and just as I was fighting my way into Southern Europe I attacked, (and was repulsed from,) Moscow, provoking another round of paraspam from which I was again forced to retreat. The effect of this second attack was that Germany had no money left to defend against my attacks on Greece, France, and England, which fell virtually unreinforced.

When you attack an enemy and it responds with paratroopers. A lot of paratroopers. I once counted twenty German paratroopers after an attack on Moscow.

You can also fortify using land forts but you have to have the units to screen initially tend to build on safe ground then slowly advance the forts til i can take an airport then capture all the other cities with ranging airports

I remember lol I said something before about a hydrogen bomb but para troops where landing CONSTANTLY so I got so angry I loaded 4 missiles with hydrogen bombs and blew them up, they returned the next turn lol, so I waited for another bomb hit the city they came from, took it only to realise another city had a airport....started building more nukes
