Ive done my research on the Nintendo Switch, so I was wondering what you all thought of it. It sounds like it'll be a far better console than the Wii U by a wide margin.

These days? Not interested.

They were good in the days of the supernintendo and N64. I'm also a Sega fan. These days? Not interested. Same... the only two reasons why I would ever touch a Wii... Super Smash Bros Brawl and Legend of Zelda, but the rest of it... eh... I liked N64 better because it felt more unique. Paradoxstrategy ... to answer the question in the poll... I vote no for myself because I find PCs to be superior to consoles. The games tends to be more immersing and detailed than the popstar trash sold by EA and the like. Besides... I have a controller that I can plug into the PC. It's also very easy to set up an emulator to run N64 games and other classics. Anything a console can do, a PC can plus more. I feel like the PC is the ultimate swiss knife in the gaming industry. As for yourself, go for it if you want some kind of a console to play. Switch is definitely an interesting product (just that I am a PC gamer anyhow...).

I had a gameboy, everybody seemed to have that thing playing pokémon all day.
if i were to buy the switch? no, i saw the console trailer and it was actually pretty damn good. However, I don't like the games that are being developed for the switch, so it's a no for me.

I used to love Nintendo when I was younger, nowadays I'm mostly over it. A lot of the games are still fun, I especially love Punch Out for the Wii and the 3-D Mario platformers, and games such as Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros which you can play with a group of friends are lots of fun. And (Even though I wasnt alive when most were out), I loved the older consoles like the N64 (Loved Mario 64) and the Gamecube may be my favorite console (The controller is fantastic and good mix of the first person shooters and creative Nintendo material).
But yeah, PC is better, especially due to the fact that you dont need to go to a store and buy games. I always liked going out on my birthday with my parents when I was younger to pick out a new game for the occasion, but it's just so much more convenient to go on Steam and buy a game there. Plus, what's not to like games like Verdun, Victoria II, EUIV, and Hearts of Iron IV?
That being said, I'd always like to keep a game console in my house with some nice multiplayer games in case I have some friends over.
EDIT:
Just looked at the Switch on Business Insider. I like the idea of being able to take the console on the go which is sorta what the Wii U was trying to accomplish, but I prefer having my consoles fixed in one location next to my TV without having to constantly be moving them.
The controller looks bad. What else do I have to say about it? It looks all bulky and it looks like they took two Wii remotes, glued them onto opposite sides of a plastic rectangle and made it their controller.
I do like how Nintendo is planning to make every part sold separately, now that's a good idea. Everything comes in the console box, but if you lose something you can easily go to the store and replace it with a new one. I appreciate that since I have actually lost the top panels of my Wii which means now I cant sell it! And of course they dont sell the top panels unfortunately.
Overall, I guess we just gotta wait until it comes out. Not expecting all that much though.
