Meanwhile in Australia we've been hit by a heatwave and it's been around 40 degrees celsius today. when someone is freezing and the another one feels he might die thirsty... SMH In Singapore, it's very hot in the day, and cool at night. If we're lucky we get rain; rain so heavy we get flooding.

Logistics would be completely different between setting a fire in your neighbor's forest or setting a fire on the far side of the Pacific rim. And not to mention that missle technology was rudimentary during WW2 while today anyone could build a missle with parts from the dark net. I was hoping this was a message allowing me to use my PBC navy. Its not some nerd using parts from the Dark net. It was Swiss military technology. That's being the devils advocate, as Japan used a large amount of Fire Balloons. Some reached the eastern USA, but they weren't very effective. They did end up killing a Pastor's wife, and a bunch of children on a picnic though. Only American Civilian deaths on the mainland. BTW, Logistics? This much harder effort, was also accompanied by an Japanese government operation with some clout, while the Swiss missile attack was a minor accident, probably done by a small group of soldiers with no command given. exactly my point.

So are bayeux tapestry memes common in America or is it a german meme thing? Not yet that popular but keep in mind... We are the Borg. Lower your shields and surrender your ships. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile. Sooner or later German memes will be absorbed into the American memes and rise up in temporary hyper-popularity then fall into obscurity as the American memes absorbs something else new.

I'd just like to say that I think the rise of these new Alternate History RPs are a good idea. I've always thought that something like them could be fun (though sadly when I tried to make a similar type thing some people ruined it with unfair and unrealistic posts) and I think these are the first true RP's on this board as the TWs were less RPs and more games. I like to do play by post RPs and I'm on a few other sites dedicated to RPing such as one thats set in the Star Trek Universe and you make a character to RP as and I really enjoy doing this so I'm exited to see that on this site people are now interested in RPing as countries which is a concept I find interesting. So thank you to Ivan Kolev for bring these Alternate History RPs to our board because so long as everyone can be reasonable these should be great fun. On another note can we PLEASE stop changing our names all the time? Once in a while is tolerable but I literally have no idea who a rather large number of members are now because they keep changing their names. I am serious about this, I don't understand the need to constantly change because it can cause confustion in people. Changing it sometimes like Jean-Luc Picard is all good but constant changing is really starting to annoy me. Please stop. Rant over. Bismarck Jr mate you need to make your mind already. Every other day you have a new name. And who the hell is that guy who named himself as a famous chess player? His description is "Stronk" Apart from that, I agree with Frederick the Great . This kind of RP is fun actually. You aren't "obliged" to follow the rules and things actually look good. You can literally take any path for your country and then focus on it. Also you can efficiently use "money" (the concept that never made it into the TWs untill the latest one). Really fun! Thanks to Ivan Kolev . Also because of these wars he's alive again too (on the forum obviously) Sorry, but Im not going to continue to stay alive after this. I am still upset at how some of us were treated on this forum.

I'm not sure what you meant by that because you're not exactly innocent either. ?? :/ People who lives in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. So with that principle, I think it's best if people who has their hands dirty back off from this topic and move on from the past. Granted, if a sort of behavior is persistent in popping up by somebody who has a very long history of doing the same misdeeds, then... the past does have some validity in judging a person. My off-the-track point is that I've elected to let bygones be bygones between you and me, and I hope you are equally willing to do that to others.

I'm more than happy to explain in PM exactly why we did what we did. The records of these things are carefully maintained by the Global Staff, so we can hear appeals cases.

This is all quite controversial, I recommend we stop talking about it here for the sake of the lighthearted random area.

Okay guys. Since things are kind of getting salty here I'm going to impose *social* rules for my alternate scenario. It will not affect the game itself but players will have to conduct a certain way.
