A note on History, namely about Saladin and Richard the Lionheart
When Richard the Lionheart was injured, Saladin sent his personal doctor to treat him, which was substantial since contemporary Islamic doctors were among the best. Later, when Richard's horse died, Saladin gave him two gift horses. There was even a plan to marry Richard's sister to Saladin's brother
