Fun Facts: flag counter edition.
USA, which as of 2017 is 4.4% of world population, has 32.7% of visitors to this website as of now. Compare to China, which IRL is about 20% of the world, and the largest country.
China In terms of flag counter, is only 0.39% by my imprecise calculations. This means it does not show up on the circle graph, being part of the "other"
That makes it by IRL population, the size of Peru or Nepal. Which have 24 and 0, visitors respectively. GO PERU!!!!!!
My homeland of Canada is second in all the world, with 857 visitors and 5.2% of total. This means its over 10 times its share of world population (0.5%) and is around the size of USA IRL population percentage. Back a few years anyway, even worse now.
We have had 555 unknown visitors from Asia and the pacific
100 from the european union
1 simply unknown on january 14
and on January 11, 1 anonymous Proxy. Oooooooo.

Fun fact of life on the internet: America dominates it. (To be honest, we were involved in every step of inventing the internet more than any other countries and we were the first country to have high percentage of population connected to the Internet, landline or mobile, etc)

Infogram to members of the EFC!
This week, I will be barely on here...
I have some things that I need to finish last week but they're piling up AND I'm supposed to be out of town this upcoming weekend so I MUST catch up. Right after the weekend, my week will be revolving around a move into a new apartment.
But at least... once I have moved, the new place is AWESOME!! I'm seriously looking forward to the move.

Thats WHY you dominate, not a reason to discount it.

Wrong. Apparently number of computers per household in China: 0.49% Number of computers per household in USA: 2. Since China has 4 times as many people than USA (Deso was talking percentage, not absolute so this Irrelevant) thats 1.96 compared to American 2. There should be more computers in America then, by a slight margin. 2. There is supposedly more cell-phones in Uganda than people, whats your point? Not to mention everybody has a cell-phone in Canada, no doubt same in USA. (absolute terms China would maybe have more here, but DesoBall was talking integration and percentage)

1. Ok 2. yeah, you are right. After the battle of the Teutoburg forest, the Romans regroup, killed 20,000 Germans in a vengeance campaign, then retired behind the rhine. The enemy leader who beat up the Legions, Arminius, was assassinated by his own people. 2.1. For hundreds of years after (397 to be exact) The Romans hold onto Modern Germany south and west of the rhine. (thus Cologne would be a roman city) In fact, Cologne was founded 41 years after the crushing defeat at Teutoburg, and was called Colonia Claudia Ara Agrippinensium. It was the capital of the provinces Germania inferior and secunda, which remained Roman until 475 AD. So yes, went terribly. 500 years of colonization, before the germans finally broke the Roman stranglehold. Well, I guess thats better than the Iberians (Spain and Portugal) who took 800 years to break free from Muslim empires. And of course, Roman empire was defeated by Germania, while the Spainards did not kill the Caliphate. I read a book by Harry Turtledove, BTW, about the great defeat of Rome at Teutoburg forest. Called "give me back my legions" as the Roman emperor supposedly yelled everyday, so saddened by the defeat he was. Anyway, don't mind me. If I can take pride in Scotland never being conquered by Rome, you can take pride in the Germans, which have a more unbroken connection to such distant ancestors. Have you never heard of a Phyrric victory? Teutoburg cost Rome so much, even an eternity of occupying Germany couldn't make up for the dead legions, aside the fact that the occupied Germans simply denied Roman law and tax and went about their way. Rewriting this again... To risk supporting your argument, Teutoburg was a essentially complete Roman defeat. Not even a pyrrhic victory. 3 legions were wiped out, and it was the only confirmed time a legion's (2 in this case) number was not reused. (it may have happened to the 22rd legion during the 3rd jewish revolt 60 years later) However, the loss was only -20,000. Compare to the size of the imperial army a few years later (250,000) and that defeats of this magnitude are somewhat common in Roman history. While 3 were lost, 2 legions remained in Germania, and 3 more were sent to replace the lost. Interestingly, while those 2 legions held the Rhine, 2+ roman cities, and forts and garrisons were lost in the east. However, one fort held out for a few months, then broke the siege and escaped to the rhine. Some survivors of teutoburg went with them. 40 years later, in a region near Hesse, the tribe Chatti raided. The Romans counterattacked, and freed some captives. Including survivors from Teutoburg! 12 years a slave? How about 40 years? Just after the defeat, 70,000 Romans under Germanicus Julius caesar crossed the rhine to avenge the loss. They penetrated to Hanover before completing their goal. Note that in every battle the Germans suffered heavy losses-this was not equal. Anyway, I'd compare this to the crusades. I think both had a underestimated strategic impact. The difference being that the this was a technical defeat for the benefited. You see, the Germans had been raiding and attempting to migrate by force into modern Italy-France for over 1-200 years before Rome touched German soil. I would argue that colonizing western and southern Germany actually helped the Romans, as it slowed the eventual conquest that always threatened to happen. After all, the battle of Teutoburg was fought during the reign of the first Roman Emperor, and there is over 90 that followed him before the germans killed Rome. Very decisive, that Well, there you go. You finally receive my rambling. Perhaps you find my words and argument crap, and that is your right.
