So I went back to the HRE campaign today to finally unlock the bonus mission, Battle of Britain. Only to find I get destroyed when I play it ;-; Has anyone beaten it and remember their strategy?

I know he makes walkthroughs but I do not speak Russian, nor do I have the best generals in the game like he does. So I don't think his strategy would work for me. Can't even use captions and have it translated  |

I traditionally focus my attack on the east of London. I use land unit to destroy few coastal forts in the east then I can use my ships to harass the British land units all I want. This should not be difficult since you have a lot of ships at the beginning but the timing is important. If you land in Britain too fast, before the ships can give fire support then your landing forces might be overwhelmed.
I don't remember the detail though. Maybe it's time for me to go over the campaign in EW4 one more round.

I kind of got a strategy. I attacked the north first and made an attack on Dublin from there. Was able to complete it after sending in my main force from Amsterdam combined with the Dublin army.

I retried this today to get a definitive strategy and found one. Cavalry general attacks Liverpool while a naval general and artillery bombards London. The cavalry general with artillery moves on to Dublin while the other generals capture Plymouth.

Any advice is appreciated. Ummm.... why do you have sooooooooo many slots for generals. I have only four even if i buy them i can have maximum six Maybe its because of the platform you are playing on? I am on IOS |

For Battle of Britain, I have try this multiple time and finally got 5 stars just before round 19. Here's my tip and my generals: Sophia, Kate, Golitsyn, Fatimah, Oudinot and Isabella. - Put Golitsyn and Sophia with Archduke. C heading to get Leeds. But be careful with Cotton's severe attack. Place Kate on a Frigate and attack the port of Edinburgh, The Danish will help you attack and also do be carful with Jervis as well.
- Make sure the Triple guards with a great infantry commander (like Oudinot) and use Double heavy artillery on Isabella (if you don't then Scharnhost will be another example for it) and gang up with Blucher for a rally for London plus use a army from HRE towards to GB. *MOST IMPORTANT IS UPGRADE YOUR CITIES IN FIRST ROUND!*
- Once you capture Leeds, spam some line infantry to stay away from Jervis coming to attack the three commanders. Capture Liverpool and Birmingham, then help your rally with artilleries bombard London.
- Capture the capital city of Great Britain, split your army heading to Dublin and Plymouth, use Sophia to heading to Dublin and fort because she's a spy and spy can produce a severe damage to the enemy. And that's the end of the battle.
