SERBJA STRONK BEST COUNTRY as a reward, you get Montenegro as well! Enjoy having a port on the Adriatic! Just don't take over that strip of land separating Montenegro with Serbia or its war! (It's called the Sanjak. Turk for sub-province)

Greece should be buffed more by the Balkan situation, as not only are the other countries stronger by default, but why would Serbia join Austria? IMO Italy isn't a horrible choice. Its one of the bigger countries, and is the only country that had the option of joining either side, as far as I know. The only problem being that its army is not the best. Could change that perhaps. eh, you have been recently humiliated in the Greco-Ottoman War of 1897. (link en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greco-Turkish_War_(1897) ) Italy isn't horrible, just that no one wants a war with Austria in the mountains. That too a front that rarely moves.

I don't see the reason why should Greece be "buffed" unless we're talking militarily. Heck, Bulgaria is still nominally a vassal state of the Ottomans (that will be given complete independence once the game starts).

Its weaker than the non-balkans 3.5 only matter of time before Bulgaria is free. I guess, anyway. (BTW, greece has been independent for awhile now) It would make sense, I think, for rather than be combined, the player who owns multiple balkan countries, plays them sepreately. With same foreign policy I guess.

But that's more nominal than Egypt. Which is why I want to forget the past and give them total independence so we can have a fresh start (note, I want this kind of a relationship between all of my Balkan dudes).

Heck, Bulgaria is still nominally a vassal state of the Ottomans (that will be given complete independence once the game starts). You're generous. I would have insisted on maintaining a vassalisation of Bulgaria if I was the sultan. The alternative would be full annexation and sending all leadership of Bulgaria to gulag, villages that resist gets razed to the ground. Imperial RomeBall, the ability to join sides is presumably given to ALL players... but regardless, you're right. Italy is a decent sized country as a middle-level power. One thing though... it's in rough shape. Very poor in the southern half, nearly no colonies, limited industrialization, Catholic church still a little angry about the secularism in the Kingdom of Italy (as opposed to a Kingdom of God instead), but the Church definitely would support Italy against a foreign invasion, and the population is nearly pure 100% Italian, nearly 100% Catholic, so it's a very stable nation by comparison to most powers.

1. American ATL. 2. Kingturn. 3. More Kingturn. 4. Kingturn Skirmish mode. 5. Freeciv. 6. I might go on a break on RPs after American ATL. 7. IMO Italy is about as fun as playing as Town Line, NY and making it a central power in 1918. What's wrong with Italy? You can always make her more involved as it is Alternative History. I just really dislike pizza.

Administrative Reforms, Religious Reforms, Cultural Reforms and such. Everyone gets to do their own thing. Repression will become a distant memory.

I'm trying to avoid commitments although one of them was just cancelled. I'll participate in the other alternate history due to me already being in it but I don't want to join this one. the reason I cancelled that one was because this one has gotten a lot of activity in just one day and also because that one needs to be a bit reformed. A few things a still unclear in that one which is the second reason why I stopped it. Anyways if you're not joining then it's fine by me. I'm referring to the mafia one being cancelled

Only if Joffre and Pétain are deported to French Guyana and the young Henri Guisan takes over. you still have Nivelle? And Guisan is Swiss right?

Quoting some Renaissance Briton: "I just hate the French. I don't need a reason." we know we know. I would not be surprised is someone from England wrote a book called "The French; Why?" back to topic?
