You're generous. I would have insisted on maintaining a vassalisation of Bulgaria if I was the sultan. The alternative would be full annexation and sending all leadership of Bulgaria to gulag, villages that resist gets razed to the ground. oh you don't even know what I'm planning for the Empire (spoiler alert). Administrative Reforms, Religious Reforms, Cultural Reforms and such. Everyone gets to do their own thing. Repression will become a distant memory. You might still have to deal with the Arab revolts. Frederick the Great, I don't know how detailed this RP will be... but if I was the GM, I would be whacking you pretty hard with the economic slowdown from rising coal prices due to coal mines becoming a little dry in England, and imported coal is more costly. The Royal Navy was also looking at the superior benefits of oil-fired versus coal-fired ships, making the transition to oil as the fuel of the navy in exchange of coal. This had the effects of making ships faster but expensive (more expensive mainly because of the increased size of hulls and cannons actually). The transition was also very costly because of the supplying stations had to upgrade their faculties to accommodate the different fuel all around the world. |

You should join, Italy isn't a big country and has only one potential enemy. But in the Latin American thing, it feels so dumb that people just blow things out of proportion. Maybe we should do a WC3/EW4 style of star ratings of strength for the countries? Like from 1 to 5, Economics, Land Army, Naval Fleet, Population, Technology, that kind of thing. For example, I listed why Italy isn't that powerful but isn't that weak either. Each country can be listed like that. I do have a good book that definitely would cover this concept. I can post some info from there then combine from other sources. |
